“From the very moment I stepped inside the front lobby, everything about AWOL was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the very kind lady gave me a nice detailed tour that was also somehow quick. She even included a map for me with some suggestions as I am not from the area. The room was cozy, clean, and everything we wanted when we booked our stay. “Close to town. Nice restaurants near by. Variety of items for breakfast, which was included with room. Comfortable bed and the shower had good pressure. Wish I could have stayed longer.”

“The checkin was at the market which was a little confusing but once we figured that out everything else was fabulous. A welcome reception with wine and cheese was delightful. Will stay again! ”

“I’ve booked a king size and get queen size. Why I am being charged for kings while I had a queen size? The staff was rude and she gives us the explanations of her dog is dying. We made the best of it but the staff told us that she will rectify this on Monday but today is Tuesday. I am being charged and getting something else. ”

“My husband and I (and our dog) had a lovely three night stay. The hosts Amelia and Ron were so welcoming, and made us delicious breakfasts. They filled us in on the history of the Inn and the neighboring area. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and we enjoyed the hot cocoa and soft drinks that were always available. Just the post-Christmas getaway we needed. ”

“Let me begin by stating this is a beautiful bed and breakfast, that said it may not be your best option January through March. What no one will tell you, including their website, is you may be the only guest, and there are no other actual humans on site with you, just a phone number. We ended up spending quite a bit of time figuring out how to start the gas fireplace pilot light, with limited direction, as well as where the TV is (hidden behind a mirror) and how to work. The worst part is the……
