Hate to say anything bad because we had a really good time at the near by Celtic festival we came for but the Property is in need of repair and a good spring cleaning. The best part was the excellent restaurant. 4 star restaurant in a 2 star hotel.

Nightmare, is an understatement. The Home Depot bucket collecting water dripping from the ceiling in the main entrance area- could have been a dead give away. It got worse. People were smoking drugs on the staircase, and right outside our door. The room was not swept and the tub had hairs. The second room we looked at, smelled like a bottle of bleach had been used to cover up something or another and the personal air purifier placed in the room had a dirty filter. Sadly, this room was not better than the first. My allergies started acting up, so, needless to say we left. The pictures on the website are far from reality. I have called three days straight to speak to the manager- Renee, to no avail. She does not answer calls.

The pool and hot tub were great, we did not eat at the restaurant but it seemed busy all of the time! The rooms were clean and our beds were made every day and items restocked. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. A couple of downfalls...the mattresses are extremely firm! It would not keep us from staying here again, just be aware of this! Also, the hotel IS situated by a railroad track (which is does state in their description) so I recommend earplugs or request a room in the front. The hotel is conveniently located, very fairly priced and we would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was not helpful and was almost rude when we tried to check in a little early. The room was similar to any two star hotel as that it smelled musty and old. The parking lot backed up to a railroad track and there was not much pet friendly areas for my dog to go to the bathroom. There were also people outside the hotel all hours of the night, making noise and smoking marijuana.

No hot water in room 130 and very low water pressure.I brought it to the attention of the front desk, but they said there’s nothing they can do. There’s a railroad track right outside your room so if you’re into trains you would love it. This is more of a 2 star motel than a hotel and you can get much more for what you pay elsewhere.

Room was really damp and we found a lot of black mold. There was a bad smell of sewage during the night. Not to mention a heavy freight train is passing every single hour, just outside the window, also during the night. A/c unit had also fallen out of the wall and the walls had splashes of unknown substances. This might be the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Left as early as possible following morning.
