“The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished.The beds were very comfortable as well. Although we didn’t cook during our stay, the kitchen was very nice and clean, with lots of amenities provided to get us through the first night or so. Also the inside of the refrigerator was spotless!We loved being steps away from the Saint Charles Ave trolley car stop too.The cottage was very quiet at night and we enjoyed relaxing on the front patio as well.And… the host was extremely responsive to our……

“The property is in a truly old home, but they have done a great job to update it and make it comfortable. It has the feel of a hostel, but definitely higher quality than your average hostel. It's a great option for a place to lay your head that is clean and convenient. The porch is amazing is well. Everything works, showers were warm, and everything was clean. ”

“The location was great! Very easy in and out of Riverfront, Bourbon Street, etc. The outside pool area was great for hanging out and we didn’t miss having a true inside living space. The rooms were gigantic and it was easy to hang out in any of the “sitting areas”. I know a lot of the reviews mentioned the giant empty building close to the property and I’ve got to say it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all! It has tight security and zero homeless issues in it. “It was a cute little one bedroom apartment. Good for someone needing somewhere to stay with a pet. It had a small fenced in yard. However, because they allow pets the place was not very clean. The couch had stains. The bed skirt had pee stains on it. The towels had stains on them. There was animal hair trapped under the doors and in the corners. I would suggest less white linens and go with darker ones. ”

It was far enough away from Bourbon street that we enjoyed peaceful evenings, and convieniently located near multiple modes of transportation, including the 12 trolley line that goes to the heart of the French Quarter. It was clean, the hosts were incredibly kind and generous, and was an ideal vacation rental. If i come back to NOLA, I would definitely want to stay here again”

“We had a great 5-night stay at Southern's Beauty1! The property was very clean, quiet and convenient. Check-in and out was a breeze. The gated private parking was definitely an added benefit! “room was not cleaned when we arrived, bed unmade, towels on floor. To their credit, they sent someone right over and left a bottle of wine. Security light went on all night keeping us up ( Bottom floor ). Location was good, Recommend second or third floor if your staying. Since room was not cleaned, we were worried someone else had access to door lock code ( all doors outside as this is a large home renovated to hotel rooms. Room was ok for amenities, in fact very good with stocked kitchen and……
