Based on pictures from the website it shouldn't have been a problem to walk on the property but due to potholes and uneven walkways it was hard to walk.Room was semi clean. Had to ask for a coffee maker as there wasn't one in the room also had to ask for coffee. We arrived on a Saturday had lunch at the pool bar , went the next day and were told it had closed and would not be reopening , we were sent to……

“The owner was very friendly and helpful. Gave great recommendations on places to eat also. Hotel is located in a fairly central location with a short/reasonable drive to everything. Would definitely stay with them again!”

“First you have to realize they had 2 hurricanes in 2017 that the island is still trying to recover from. Then you need to realize they run on island time, nothing happens quickly. Sit back and relax. Oh and they drive on the left. That one was a shocker to me. All that being said it was a great vacation and I didn’t want to go home.”

The gentleman that checked us in, the landscaper, and a few of the housekeeping women were very kind, but the remainder of the office staff were rude and made it apparent that they didn’t want to be bothered with our questions. This was the experience both in person and when we had called with a question prior to our arrival. When we did have questions we were greeted with an “out to lunch, be back in 30 minutes” sign more often than we were greeted by staff.……

“I was originally in a room 3rd floor One of the ladies came and told me they were upgrading my room. They moved me to the 2nd floor with oceanfront view. However the ice machine was right outside my door and very noisy. When they upgrade when not ask the guest should not be put next to the ice machine.”

“My stay at this hotel was exactly the relaxing escape I needed. Having the ocean literally right outside my room was incredibly calming, and every angle felt like a postcard. While parts of the exterior looked a bit worn from the balcony view, the interior more than made up for it with beautiful, thoughtful aesthetics. “I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! ”
