Check in was excellent, the property owner contacted us the day before and sent detailed instructions with a Google pin, the wife and I had rented a car and had no problems getting to the property.If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay that you do not feel pressured I highly recommend this property. We enjoyed the tranquility the property offered.The property is very well maintained and extremely clean.We were located within 10 minutes of several beautiful beaches, “Runaway Beach” we enjoyed and visited almost daily. This is the same beach shared with a couple of very pricy resorts. There is no cover charge to use the beach. Jolly Beach about 20-25 minutes away offers umbrellas and lounge chairs also bar/food for moderate cost, along with souvenirs.St John’s was a 20 minute drive to the Quay which offered souvenirs and local shops. Car rental is a must, due to the roads in Antigua particularly the numerous speed bumps an SUV with high clearance is strongly recommended. The people of Antigua are by far the most friendly and welcoming of all the places we have visited.
