The property is secluded near the top of a very steep mountain. The driving (on the left side of the road) is challenging and the directions we received were difficult for us to follow. We were given longitude and latitude coordinates for our GPS and not a street address, so it was difficult to ask for directions from people we met. It took nearly two hours to find the property. Once there, however, the view was breathtaking. There was a pool, but the cover was off and it was filled with debris, and there was a hot tub that was fun to use. Overall, it was a good stay.

Pure Bliss!!!

This place and the views are just absolutely gorgeous! The pictures don’t do any justice you will have to be there to fill the serenity as what I am feeling right now! We had no trouble finding the place everything was equipped with all the amenities as stated in the itinerary. I absolutely love hearing the tropical birds at the residence. It is such a peaceful private place to stay for a vacation. I had no problems with customer service no problems that I can think of. The only problem I had was leaving in having to return back home. I will recommend this place to everyone, and again the views are impeccable! When I vacation again, this is a place that I will be choosing to stay. If I can give 100 stars I would because it deserves it all. Only recommendation I have is to rent a jeep for sure, you are going to need it! Other than that, I will be back!

Location Location Location

Let me first say this is our third time in St Thomas. If you are looking for a small place to relax and just lay your head down after a day out exploring then this is a great option. Located on the upper cliffs with amazing views of Magens Bay, this 1 bedroom is conveniently located close to Magens Bay and two of our favorite places to eat, Fish Bar and Sibs. This unit is located downstairs from another unit and we did not hear anything from the tenant the entire week. The private pool and spa were amazing. Please keep in mind that the island is very lush and tropical. Especially around this villa. So of course, you are going to get leaves in both the pool and spa from the constant breeze that comes through. The inside is cute but not high end by any means so if you are looking for high end this unit is not for you. I will also say two guests max. Inside is very tight but for us we do not spend much time inside when we are on island so it worked. Just some FYI'S- pictures are not accurate for outside of the building or patio area. Both need a deep clean and patio furniture needs replaced but we didn't mind because we were in the pool or spa. Also, if you're following GPS for address of unit, you will need to make a right on road before the actual road unit is on as the parking for this unit is located on the road before the actual address. Confusing? Yes, but once you're there you will understand. Jeep or 4x4 recommended. Thanks for a great stay! Ryan and Stacey

Beautiful views and beautiful stay!

This is my second year in a row, returning to this property, and it was nothing short of amazing as always! I absolutely cannot get over the different types of tropical birds I hear throughout the night and the iguanas I see crossing the streets as I hike taking my morning and afternoon walks. I will always recommend this property to anyone who’s looking to vacationing in peace and serenity!

Very Unclean!

I gave it a 2 star, because of the beautiful view, but other than that, the place was absolutely horrendous!!! Dirty towels and wash clothes, stick flloors, bedroom sheets had stains on them, pool was filthy! The owner should be ashamed of there selves, very unprofessional and nasty!!!!

Good experience, nice view, and very calm

Had trouble trying to find property, the address wont show up on gps. The street going to the property is very bad, I suggest to rent a jeep. But onces we got there we like it. It’s calm and comfortable and it has a beautiful view. Talking about privacy, there was someone renting on top, we thin’t know that it has a second floor. But still quiet and very calm. The pool needs to be clean a little more, I think they should cover it until the guess arrive to the property.

Worse VRBO I ever booked !!

It is AWFUL! I tried for 2 hours after finding the place to get other accommodations. Due to holidays everything booked !! It was filthy I had to buy pillows I took pictures if the filth and bedding if you want to see Only saving grace was a hot tub but getting the turn waterlogged top off and on took 2 people a struggle I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone!! My son usually books our trips with him I showed him photos he was shocked it was so bad We , thru son in Tampa usually rent higher end properties but this was close to our home Places like this will ruin your business!

The bathroom was not clean, there was hair on the floor and in the shower. The floor was not swept in the entire place. There was blonde hair all over the sofa and kitchen floor, and there was a weird smell in the villa that smelled like a litter box. Lack of communication with the property manager. I did clean after myself.

Great views, but maybe best for a short stay

This place has great views, which change because the clouds and sun make the light vary. Sun and moon rise views are great. The website said something like "you really should have a Jeep". I would add that you really should be an experienced driver on St. Thomas because roads can be very narrow, not well paved (many potholes) and have many hairpin turns. In addition, parking is tight almost everywhere. Drivers in the hills are generally courteous, but at ground level around the two main towns, they may not be. If you plan to go into town check to see if any cruise ships are in port and pick another day. Just about all parking lots and driveways in the mountains are steep and many were not level. One disturbing thing was the four video cameras all around the place and at the gate of the driveway. The only notice of this was a small (<2" decal on the front door reading "protected by Ring audio and video surveillance." This was NOT prominently displayed, which I think goes against VRBO policy. There were many ADT security stickers, with sensors on all windows, but that system seems to have been inactivated. All but one window had small, difficult to handle thumb-screw braces that could be put on but I doubt they would hold up to someone strong trying to open it. The closest window to the street had no such lock. A neighbor two doors (maybe 150 feet away) had two small yappy dogs that barked for long times on quite a few days, making a sit on the porch or soak in the tub much less pleasant. I know the owner has no control over that, but it would be nice to know in advance. Finally with regard to the "heated pool" and hot tub, the pool was about 75 degrees which is the average low air temp in St. Thomas most of the year. I'm an active swimmer so it didn't really bother me but my wife cannot swim in that temp. Also they told me not to cover the pool, even thought there was a thick four panel cover like the one on the tub. It's precariously stacked at the end of the pool which overlooks a serious drop down a rocky hill full of trees and plants. We realized they were spying on us when we were alerted to "not climb on the cover". Since I couldn't cover it, it wouldn't get warm and leaves, insects and debris would collect because its windy. When we first used the hot tub scum came out, indicating maybe it hadn't been used in some time, three days in a row. They suggested the tub got dirty because we had drinks and didn't shower. BS, we have a tub.

Perfect for 2 adventurous people

My fiancé and I stayed here for 6 nights beginning of May with our dog. The checkin process was easy, but we did have to wait outside on the porch for about 30 minutes past check in time before we got our entrance code (island time lol). The space is small, but was perfect for us as we spent majority of our time exploring the island. I agree with previous reviews about the kitchen missing some staples, but it did not make it impossible to cook. The AC unit in the bedroom provided great temperature for sleeping. I would not list this property as having a “private pool and hot tub” as there is a ring camera monitoring system above. The outdoor shower also has a ring camera which we threw a towel over when we used the shower. We rented a sedan and made it work, but would rent an SUV if we stayed again. Overall the property is cute and quiet with a beautiful view and great breeze, I highly recommend and would stay again!

This property was as described! Included the need for a Jeep or AWD vehicle. They view is the best because you’re on top of a mountain which wasn’t bad for us because we’ve driven in tons of different situations. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Lovely stay but could be a better experience with a few minor changes

The view is incredible, and having a personal pool/hot tub is an amenity that few places on St Thomas have. Both were clean and functional. We made good use of it! The outdoor area could be improved with a good power washing. We didn’t use any of the furniture that had cushions because they were covered in mildew, as were the outdoor rugs. There were chaise lounges that are not pictured that we used instead that were fine. There is also a little bar area that is not shown in pics that was great for having breakfast. For 2 people the size is just fine for a vacation. Really appreciated the 2nd bathroom. AC in bedroom is great for sleeping and the ocean breeze keeps the apartment cool enough even in the heat of the day. The kitchen is very basic, and we used it for making breakfast every day and two dinners. A few dollar store purchases could make it more functional (no oven mitts, strainer, whisk, toaster barely works, but we managed without). You can get there with a regular car, but the last road is pretty crumbly with a lot of potholes. A car with higher clearance would be best. Parking is kinda tricky, but you do have a dedicated spot. Location is great, you can be on the beach in 10 minutes, Sibs on the Mountain and Mafolie’s are both 5 minutes away and great options for dinner if you don’t want to head into town. Overall great stay and I would return!

We had a great time during our trip to St. Thomas! This property was really perfect for two people. I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 because of a few details that were missed. Upon arrival, the pool had debris in it, there was black mold on the cushions of the outdoor seating area, and the outdoor dining chairs were rusted. The inside of the house was clean, but it could have used a few updates. Overall, we had a great time at this property, and enjoyed the beautiful view of Magen’s Bay everyday!
