「Very dated. No usb chargers or even plug points near beds. Bathroom very old and feel dirty, even though they clean, due to how aged and worn out they are. Window lets in a lot of noise. Ok for a quick one night stay. On the plus side, staff was excellent and breakfast was great.」

「Room clean & had basic facilities available. No heating control available in room. Parking is available but spread out & difficult to find at times. Lots of steps to some rooms & around the grounds mean it’s difficult for people with mobility issues. The catering arrangements are ok with the Queens cafe food good but limited choice, seating feels like you are sitting in a corridor due to the open plan design. Breakfast buffet is ok but not very hot food & no tea available, with very limited...

「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」
