“服务员很大声的敲门，致使我被惊醒，心有余悸”

“It is fine, but I don’t think it is a 3 stars hotel”

“Front desk friendly. Room not ready 2 hours after check in time. Room we reserved not available. Staff said site had been overbooked. We were given smaller room but not compensated for change. Breakfast buffet was a pitiful joke. 2 hours before the end of service, there was no hot food and limited other choices. We had to send out to nearby restaurant for breakfast”

“Great to see the renaissance of downtown Gastonia. The Esquire is a cornerstone of the surge. When we were looking for lodging in the area, we saw the Esquire and we were delighted to see the old bank and lawyers’ building converted. The staff was amazing. The restaurant sources from all locally owned farms and suppliers. The rabbit gnocchi was life-changing. I wish I could rate higher than all 5s. Thank you Esquire- we will be back soon!!!!!”

On the second night I……

“Environment quiet, air conditioner too noise”

“Customer service was great. The rooms/bathrooms were the cleanest in most hotels I have stayed in. I would definitely stay again.”

“A clean room, multiple options for the complimentary breakfast, and a beautiful view of the skyline. This location isn’t far at all from downtown and they had quality snacks, and wine/beer for purchase in the lobby. We will be sure to stay here again in the future!”
