“Great spot, very clean & modern. Was very impressed with the amenities - we caught a lot of fish off the pier, and had a great time. Next time we'll be taking the kayaks out! Thanks for making it a great experience in NC!”

“We had a great time. The host quickly got back with me what I had a question. Sitting and watching the water was so relaxing, the hot tub was clean and fun. The fire pit was amazing also. The outside dining was nice to have as well. Privacy was a 10/10.”

“We enjoyed the cute little lake house. The weather kept us in for a few days but loved the decks, hot tub, grill, and firepit when we could dodge the rain. The kitchen was stocked to cook in, beds were comfy, nicely decorated. The area is peaceful and quiet. Missing the sounds of birds, ducks, and the grey horned owl family up in the pine tree.”

“Very whimsical stay, kids throughouly enjoyed the scavenger hunt and small knick knacks in house. Easy to find, convenient driveway, not far from town, clean and roomy. All around great stay.”

“This cottage was cute and comfy, with lots of little updates and personal touches that made our stay extra special. Starting with the chalkboard welcome sign, we felt from the beginning like things were set up just for us. The homemade blueberry muffins were a sweet touch, as were all the little necessities in the kitchen (coffee, filters, Brita in the fridge, etc.) and the bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer). We had a bit of bad weather during our stay and ended up with a……

“We canoed and waded, bird watched, and ate on the screened in porch through rain. Clean, comfortable, and enough outdoor space for kids under 10 to play on and off the lake. Good place for a small family gathering!”

“We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area.”

“We booked this property on a mission to go to Emerald Hollow Mine. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone kept saying it was one of the best stocked rentals we've been to. Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!”

“Excellent place to relax and spend the night. Traffic noise is noticeable but overall, the place was great. Ladybugs shared the place with us but seemed to bring us good luck. Our friends stayed with us for the first night, so we took the second-floor bedroom. Bed too soft for me but a nice room. Five stars.”

The house is wellstocked with towels laundry supplies etc. Waseem is a great host lets you know when somebody is coming to the house - one example pool care. Would recommend this place to anyone!!! “Although we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there. We didn’t need anything but if we did she was very accessible and the communication was great. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. When you get there you will be greeted by two or three huge,……
