“We can't say enough nice things about this house. My parents, brother and his kids, and my husband and I stayed here for a family reunion. It is a wonderful house. The photos do not do it justice. We really enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast sitting by the lake. The sun room is lovely - we had one very rainy day and sitting there and watching the rain on the lake was very nice. “The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The setting is rural and quiet, and the large deck on the back of the house is a wonderful gathering space for family and friends. The kitchen was well appointed with everything that we needed, and the decor throughout the house was pleasing.”

“My wife and I had a great stay for annual fishing trip to Chautauqua. Laurie was attentive host and communication was excellent. We enjoyed setting on the deck and chatting with the neighbors when we were not on the water.”

Our dog also had a wonderful time walking with us on the paths to Lake Erie. My favorite part might have been the relaxing furniture on the deck and watching the birds around the ponds. There was a pair of robins building a nest on a low branch right outside the kitchen window. Wish we could have stayed to watch as the eggs hatched!”

“The house on the lake was a perfect fit for our family who was in town for a wedding. There were plenty of beds for the 10 of us (ranging in age from 3-55!). Karen provided everything we could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, towels, etc. She was so generous providing water, gatorade, and freezie pops for the kiddos and firewood for a campfire. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't here! She was also very communicative and kind allowing us to stay an extra day! The……

“First, I went with my 2 teenagers. It was such a unique set up with the boathouse and the creek. The house was very clean and had everything available. It’s an older house with a lot of character. The sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and all the birds, bunnies and 2 ducks visiting was an added bonus. The boat house was a great hang out place with a game table, games and a TV. “We were in town for the college graduation. The lake house is a perfect place to get away for a weekend or more with friends or family. From the high end appliances to the fully stocked kitchen you can cook, bake and grill. There are lots of little thoughtful touches throughout. Each bed had a throw blanket that was great for relaxing in the living room or on the deck. The sunset view was spectacular. “We have been coming to Lake Chautauqua for 20 years and this is the best home that we have rented . The house has a great dock for at least 2 boats. The house is nicely updated with all things necessary to make a great stay. The house is clean with plenty of room for a large family. The owners are very quick to respond to any problems that you might have. Our group has rented this home twice, and are looking forward to returning.”

“Nice condo in a small develoment on the water, close proximity to Chautauqua Institution. Kitchen had nice supply of dishes, pots and pans, and a variety of spices and a few condiments which was very helpful. Beds were comfortable with decent bedding. Relatively clean. While there are beds to accommodate 8 people, the gathering spaces are really meant for 6 - there are 6 chairs for the dining table, 6 chairs for the patio furniture, and there is one couch and two arm chairs in the living room.……

“The property is a short walk away from Lake Erie and has all of the things that we needed. Kitchen, pull-out couch, good bathroom. It was very comfortable. The location is also very good and was very easy to find. Kyle was quick to respond to my questions and was very easy to work with. We booked this for the eclipse very far out in advance (16 months) and there was never any issue. I recommend this property and Kyle whole-heartedly. My only comment for improvement would be the grill could be……

“Stayed here for the eclipse but got much more out of it. It was a nice quiet stay right on the lake which made for and enjoyable long weekend. Havinging th abilty to walk out, sit around a fire on a lake and fish was quite enjoyable. The tiny home was perfect for our needs and look forward to staying here again in the future. It was pet friendy yet lacked any animal hair which was a big concern as we had more than 1 person alerigic to dogs but had to bering out non shedding dog with us. Overall……
