We were really blown away with how fantastic this property was and absolutely ideal for our 2 week stay. The warmest of welcomes awaited us on arrival from both the owner & pets plus once inside a plentiful welcome pack had been provided including eggs from the owner’s free range hens. We do a lot of self catering holidays & this was one of the best equipped houses we have experienced with many high quality modern appliances. Muriel was nearby and happy to help with any special requests (we needed a large pan) but never intrusive with our privacy being respected at all times. A wonderful holiday with so much to see & do close by, particularly the little harbour towns where we discovered the fish van, some great beaches, the excellent gardens, plus lots of ancient castles and lighthouses to explore. Stranraer was easy striking distance for most facilities. We didn’t eat out much as it was a joy to spend time in the house with views of ponies and occasionally deer in one direction and ferries sailing past and fabulous sunsets in the other. We will be back !!

Perfect! In ever way! There is nothing I would change and there is nothing missing. The map and places of interest displayed downstairs is truly commendable. Fantastic use of this space 👍. Loved the entrance where mucky boots and waterproofs can be hung up 👍. Our Welcome Pack was truly wonderful. Our stay had the Valentines special touch! 💝 chocs, crackers, roses, and games. So thoughtful of Muriel and Mark. Warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean, quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Just loved it! 5 🌟 recommendation!

Seascape is the most amazing place to stay with breath taking views.

Seascape is the most amazing place to stay with breath taking views. The hosts Mark and Muriel were fantastic and nothing is too much for them, they provide everything you need and more and the welcome pack is fantastic. The house is so tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and has everything you need, we can’t wait to go back and if we could, we’d move in. It’s more than a ten out of ten, thank you Mark and Muriel we absolutely loved it and hopefully we’ll see you soon.
