Adjoining the Lighthouse Apartment we now also have the “LIGHTKEEPERS SNUG”, a self-catering, boutique accommodation situated on the south pier, overlooking the small sandy beach, promenade and the harbour in the picturesque village of Portpatrick. Only minutes away is “The Port Pantry” (which can provide hearty breakfasts, as well as other meals.) Also there are a number of hotels for lunch, dinner, bar food and carry outs. There is a Mitchelin starred restaurant a wonderful 3 mile cliff walk away (or an eight minute drive) for that special occasion. The slipway to the beach is right outside the front door. Portpatrick is ideal for walking and is the starting point of the Southern Upland Way. It is also a good centre for golfing, exploring the Galloway hills and the famous gardens. It is also easy to get across to Belfast and visit the Titanic exhibition.
The Snug has a double bed and an en-suite toilet/shower room. Towels and linen are provided. There is a small kitchenette with a two burner induction hotplate, sink, fridge, toaster, kettle etc. A small desk/table a two seater settee and a T.V. The accommodation is heated by underfloor heating and has good wi-fi.
The Lightkeepers Snug is a non-smoking area. There is free parking outside the door. For the convenience of other guests, dogs and other pets cannot be accommodated.
