「I stayed in a room rather than one of the lodges, and the room was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's worth noting its on the very edge of the town, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ballater.
My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. It was a little frustrating to return after a long day out to find the room hadn't been serviced, as that's one of the things I most...
「The room is little stuffy and hot in summer. I stayed in a family room. There were 2 electric fans but one of them was broken.
Reception and staff were friendly.」
「We stayed in lodge 1, it is in serious need of some tlc and updating. The carpets, sofas should have been upgraded years ago, alongside the kitchen.
Just a tired looking lodge now which is disappointing given the fantastic location.
The pool is fab, and the Italian restaurant was lovely!」
