“Really enjoyed our stay at Claymore. Greeted on arrival and given all the information we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and very accommodating towards my dogs (prearranged). Would definitely go back.”

“For ourselves, this was a perfect place to get away, totally private and extremely quiet. It's about 200m up a single track lane so you have to hope nobody is coming in the opposite when arriving or leaving. The garden in front of the cottage is totally enclosed so you cannot see the lane. The cottage is not large, but is very cosy and is ideally equipped. The Aga takes a bit of getting used to but there is also a small 2 ring electric hob if you do struggle. The Jacuzzi bath is a luxury,……

“Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. “We had a great stay in this cosy cottage, fab location with some nice walks from the village, and plenty to do in the nearby area. The children enjoyed watching the chickens, and we really enjoyed the eggs and fresh bread the owners kindly left us. A really relaxing weekend away”

“De woning is ruim en ligt rustig gelegen. Vanuit de woning loop je zo de natuur in. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De wifi ontvangst is prima om aan de behoefte van 2 pubers te voldoen. De slaapkamer en woonkamer is up-to date. De badkamer en toilet is zeer ruim en kan wel een update gebruiken. Ook de apart keuken is ruim en er is veel servies en bestek aanwezig.”

The owner was so accommodating and quick to respond to a query I had prior to staying, and gave us lots of suggestions about the beautiful local area. “The Inn is in the most incredible location on the Loch with uninterrupted views of the hills beyond. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough for his guests. The bedroom was lovely with the amazing views and a wee dram and fudge to welcome us. The food is fabulous (albeit a little expensive) and there is a separate cosy lounge with books and games as you sit by a roaring fire. It is peaceful and an absolute delight.”

“Good hotel, might look dated in some aspects in the common area . The room I slept in seems to have been modernized but the tv system is cruelly small considering the distance from the beds. A better isolation from the pool section might be desired . Rooms 1,-5 are passing close to the pool section which leave a smell of chlorine when passing through much of the day.”
