“This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.”

“First impressions: the long driveway in to the cottage provides for a very private location, but within a vast clearing. Cottage was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. I brought my mountain bike with me and was thrilled to ride on the gravel roads (I wasn’t able to ride the walking trails as they were way too muddy at this time of year). Adam was very pleasant to work with and provided timely responses to any emails or texts. Will definitely stay at this cottage……

“My group and I planned a weekend getaway to celebrate three of us who have birthdays in April. The space and amenities was great for us to relax and chat together, play board games, cook together, and spend some time around the fire pit. We even got to canoe a bit despite the colder weather. The property was more than comfortable and equipped to stay in and enjoy! The selection of activities was great as well, it was nice to have a billiards table, some arcade games, and outdoor water……

“This cottage was the perfect getaway for the two of us and our adult son. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the (private) lake and being off-grid. For the most part, we were the only ones on the lake which was amazing. Fishing was awesome and provided a couple of meals. Like another review, we were warmly welcomed by Todd, with fresh baked bread and eggs, a wonderful surprise. Todd was more than accommodating, responding immediately to any questions we had. The……

“We had no problems finding the property to this Gem. Trailer was in a beautiful spot overlooking the river. Very private, trailer was clean, owner was very nice, made sure we had everything we needed, if there was anything we needed like wood, the owner brought it right to our site. That was very nice of him. If you love nature , you will love this spot. There are a couple other spots on this property you can also book that are also private. Overall we were very happy and im looking forward to……

“Lake Mirage was the perfect cottage for our time in Huntsville. The house is gorgeous, the beach/dock area is great for lakeside enjoyment, and the view from the dock is so peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. When we return to the area, this will be our first choice in the future!”

The new and spacious interior was great for having family time, and the secluded location across from an island was a great spot.
