「Everything you'd want from a country pub in the Cotswolds. creaky wooden floors, real beer, glowing fireplace and great pub food (but not pretentious gastro-pub fare). and the room was amazing. We stayed in the Oakley, and it was perfect. super comfortable giant bed, lovely deep bath, and great shower room, with a very convenient motion sensor light that trips on in the night when you need a pee. Lot's of help if needed for local walks etc, and very polite and engaging staff. And Winchcombe is...

「The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. 」
