“This house is perfect for a couple or family. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the softest sheets and comforter. A full sized kitchen and family, facing the bay. A beautiful deck with bbq and comfortable seating. There’s a separate structure/studio which has a queen sized bed and heated flooring. The grounds are beautifully kept with extra sitting areas. Highly recommend, will go back again!”

“Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).”

It was a super location, close to town and yet quiet. Photos do not do it justice; we will probably book it again next year as an annual tradition.”

There is a nice small community beach to wander and take in the sea, Mt Baker, and comb for shells, etc. Wifi was strong. Check in and check out were easy. One word of caution is that the place could become unreachable or nearly so if there is significant snow or ice in winter.”

“The house is pretty much perfect. Clean, well decorated/layed out, supplied, organized and location is spot on. You have options to many indoor or outdoor seating to retreat to having your own space or lounging about with who you’re traveling with. All the bedrooms are cozy and are supplied about the same. “We loved our stay on Orcas Island. This rental was nicely located. Close to Eastsound for groceries and shopping, and even closer to Moran for lots of gorgeous hiking! The house was well-appointed and had everything you need. It is a professional property manager, so they are easy to reach and very responsive.”

“This large, comfortable house was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and baking; the coffee grinder was a nice perk. We appreciated that there were plenty of towels; extra blankets; details such as toiletries, laundry soap, first aid kit and emergency kits. The yard is beautiful but basically unusable because of the noise: the house is located on the island’s main road, right across from a loud business and very close to the airport; between……

“Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.”

“The house is just as pictured, with a little pond with koi in it as you walk up to the door. You feel like you’re walking into a castle! You have an adventure inside and outside the house - there’s so many rooms to explore with the perfect views. Walk out on one of the 3 decks and you have amazing views that are never ending across the area. We saw eagles and hawks every day, we even had visits from the deer right next to the house. It is very peaceful on this side of the island but a bit farther from town if you want easy access to restaurants and groceries. We had a very relaxing getaway.”
