It’s very Hawaiian and what you’d expect from an amazing unique and special place. My family was able to share a special time with us as we were married at the Royal Kona Resort this past weekend! "David's place is immaculate. Perfect for coming to the Kona side for beaches and snorkeling. His house is spotlessly clean and all of the appliances work well with a well stocked kitchen and even some surprise kitchen items. Mahalo for the chocolates. Those were a tasty treat! The kids loved hopping out of the pool and eating lunch on the lanai. The house is up on a steep hillside that provides the beautiful views of the ocean. Our only complaint was the frogs chirping at night. The neighborhood is so lovely and quiet with real AC instead of wall units so there is nothing to drown out the noise. We had to sleep with a noise app on to cover up the frogs. We won't miss those but apparently some people love them. Thank you for a beautiful home to enjoy Hawaii with our long time friends."

She made us feel genuinely welcome and made our stay even more memorable. One unexpected highlight was trying her coffee, which we absolutely loved!This cottage was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time in Hawaii. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here, and we would happily come back again. If you’re looking for a cozy, charming place to stay with a wonderful host, we highly recommend Lisa’s cottage. "Beautiful location and close to town. The place was perfect for our group of 7. The drive way as most reviews mentioned is tough to maneuver, but only on the first day and you get the hang of it pretty quick. Besides, you won't get the view without being high up so totally worth it."

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely and included so many great amenities, including a pool and hot tub. It was also very family-friendly, with a crib for our 8-month-old and several toys to help keep them entertained.The host’s communication was excellent. When one of the TVs stopped working, the host went above and beyond by purchasing and installing a new 65-inch TV the very next day. We truly appreciated the exceptional hospitality and would happily stay here again!"
