The location is perfect, a 7-minute walk to the town center, which made exploring Freiburg very convenient. Tom was a fantastic host, he greeted us warmly, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and shared excellent restaurant recommendations. "Kaiserstühler Hof is a wonderful, traditional German hotel/restaurant, building on generations of service starting as the standard "post office hotel" that one finds in many German towns and cities. We loved every aspect of it, except that we happened to be in Breisach during a heat wave. Temperature was in the 90s, and this venerable hotel does not have air-conditioning. Staff gladly provided an oscillating fan, which helped us get through the night. Aside from that we highly recommend this...
