“We really enjoyed this rental home. The location was great for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as it was about 10 minutes to Acadia entrance and around 18 minutes to Bar Harbor. You felt like you were in country but still very close to everything. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable.It was such a nice treat to be welcomed with a basket full of snacks, plenty of coffee and creamer, and a basket of toiletries including tooth brushes and tooth paste. “The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready).”

“Stunning bayside views of sunrise and water birds. Gourmet kitchen that is well stocked. Comfortable beds, linens, and living space. Only one problem, very poor water pressure. I don’t recommend showers. Sponge bath works for us. Made it feel a little more rustic. We had a wonderful family vacation! Very pet friendly.”
