“The hotel manager is extremely helpful and the staff are all very friendly The restaurant was very good open long hours The room was clean and comfortable The hotel has a basement garage so when it is raining it was really nice to drop off and keep dry when raining Airport shuttle was great!!”

“Kuriftu Africa is a new hotel. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The free massage included with our room was brilliant. We loved the views over the city and the fresh air. The pool and Gym were also great. There are a few areas which could make it even better: 1) water served at breakfast should be bottled. We were offered tap water initially and asked for bottled water which was provided. 2) some of our food order was cold when it arrived. 3) whilst the staff constantly ask for feedback……

“Very nice view over the city and is one of the best places to sit and watch the lights of Addis. The room was functional and the water in the shower was hot which is a very welcome thing. The room was a little noisy as the balcony door was not sound proof so the stray dogs barked all night and there was no way to reduce the sound. The room was clean and had lots of space. There is an amazing Spa in the building which is well-recommended.”

“Clean and comfortable with competent staff. The free breakfasts have a wide variety of dishes, and you can order omelettes for no extra charge. The staff speak English reasonably well, so logistics are fairly easy (getting taxis, changing booking details, etc.). The rooms are spacious and offer nice views of the city. The only negatives are things beyond the hotel's control: occasional city-wide power outages and water shutoffs. ”
