There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days”

“I booked this hotel and please please don't believe some of the negativity posted. First off Kim the manager was so professional and helpful. Not one time was she ever rude towards me..she was accommodating me but still has a job to do, keep in mind we all work and follow company rules right (well some of us) thats all she was doing..her job. I can honestly say my room had no roaches at all and I've stayed for 3 weeks. If I ever need to return, I will book here..staff was nice (a guy works there……

“This apartment is a good fit for Charleston: quaint but updated with modern necessities. In addition to cleaning and nicely decorating, the management tends to details such as umbrellas next to the door, snacks and coffee in the kitchen, and toiletries in the bathrooms. The wifi was snappy, and we were able to connect the smart tv to our subscribed apps. The kitchen was fully outfitted for cooking, although we used it only for breakfasts. “You could not get a better location for walkability and everything you needed. Because you are downtown you do have the city traffic noise but that is to be expected for trade off of the location.”

“This "hotel" is basically a weekly rental owned by a slum lord, that is taking advantage of lower class people. I had mixed interactions with staff. The guy that inspects rooms is a total jerk. The lady in the office was the only bright side of the stay. They do not clean rooms, "that is your job" they provide 1 roll t.p. and one floor towel...rest is up to you. All utensils provided by YOU. The pictures in the ad are fake, taken from a magazine or images online. Pest control sprays on……

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. ”
