“We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by.”

“We’ve made multiple trips to this cabin over the years and this little hide away cabin never disappoints. Being able to have a hot shower, WiFi, and a warm bed makes all the difference when you fish and hike all day. Also, the jacuzzi is great for loosing up those stiff joints after a long day on the river. Thanks Tim, for continuing a great line of owners to open up this beautiful home for renting.”

“The property was even better than the pictures. I came to get away and do a little hiking. It turned into a rainy weekend which left me inside to enjoy the space. I made food, watched tv and left feeling exactly what I came for- relaxed. Also, I had mentioned in my rental request it was my birthday weekend and when I arrived I had a post it on the message board saying Happy Birthday! Special touches like that really sets the property apart.”

“Our family enjoyed the natural setting of the cabin. The kids enjoyed playing with the games and the exploring the property. It was a great chance for our family to unplug and recharge.”

“Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well.”

“Very nice, secluded cabin in the woods. Far enough away from a gravel road that didn't have much travel at all to feel secluded. Had good wifi, tv and all the things you need including full bathroom and kitchen. Well kept, very clean and seemed to be a pretty new build, (maybe only a year old or so). Close enough to the iga grocery store to get food to cook when you are not traveling around. Not far from old swiss village helvitia, historic bulltown civil war battle site and wildlife game……

“The owner was very nice happy to help with anything you might need or need to know the cabin was great very clean river was right out the back door I slept with it open to hear the river I would definitely recommend to anyone”

“We were coming up from NC for my wife's grandma's 101st birthday party. Not much in the way of accommodations in Hacker Valley so this was the perfect location. It is everything you need with a nice, clean bathhouse just down the hill. The staff were extremely nice and the host goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Definitely will be returning in the future.”

“We stayed here for almost a week. The property is conveniently located a little over 10 minutes off the highway, in a valley right next to the river. The house was clean, cozy, and we had plenty of room. The back deck overlooks the river and is nice to unwind on at the end of the day. The adjacent General Store had everything we forgot to bring and much more, in case you need a pound of nails, bison burger, a sweatshirt, and a fantastic milkshake. The owners were always responsive to answer……

“We have gone to the area every year for Thanksgiving week for 4 years now. We have family in the area and my husband hunts. What a great and convenient place for us as it is close to family. House was better than expected. It was very clean and check in was very easy. Brenda was very accommodating as we drove from Florida overnight. “Our stay was amazing luke was very helpful and polite out of the past 3 vrbos we have booked in the same area in wv this was by far the best we have stayed at i would highly recommend booking this place with luke great prices great people we had a great time even tho we were in town for a funeral luke made our stay enjoyable and made it easier thank again for having us.”

“We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Walnut Glamping Dome so much! This was more like a very nice cabin than the tent-type structure I expected. We were so relaxed, sitting on our deck, looking out over the river, and when we went inside later in the evening, we could do the same thing. Because of the height of the space, the room seems huge - so inviting and full of light. What a wonderful place to wake up on my 66th birthday! Breakfast in the dining room was very good and the hosts were……
