“A truly 5-star hotel with great service. The check in staff has very kindly accompanied us to our room and introduced us to the various areas of the country and the hotel. The air conditioner works great. The bed is, unfortunately, a bit too soft. Free bath salt is included in the restroom for those who would like to have a relaxing bath in the bathtub. Breakfast is included in the price and the service of the restaurant was great too. However, would appreciate if there were more choices to……

“We lived in this hotel for 3 days, but had very bad living experience there. The hotel is not clean: the smell of sewer filled the whole room when we entered into the room every time . The quilt cover is very dirty, we found the smudge on the side which touch body, then put it on the prominent place of the bed hope house keeper can change one for us, but it shocked us that house keeper just turn the smudge side into inside!!!!! On the hand, the hotel has big problem on their hot water……

“We have had a wonderful 9 days at Castello Risano. Excellent service from booking and throughout the stay. The apartments are just beautiful and so well kept, very clean with lovely furnishings and the most incredible view over the bay of Kotor. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained, there’s free parking and a short walk down the hill to the local shops, restaurants and harbour. Local sites are easily accessible and a short drive to Perast and Kotor which are both beautiful. Anna……

“Excellent hotel, great location just a short walk from the main area, yet far enough to be a peaceful location. Breakfast was magnificent but didn’t dine here on an evening, it seemed very quiet, Hotel overall was very clean, good facilities with some lovely touches. However, one of these lovely touches was a beautifully presented box of chocolates on arrival. I popped back to the room during breakfast one day to pick up a cardigan and found the housekeeping staff eating the box of chocolates,……

“This hotel has a great view to the bay of Kotor. The rooms are spacious and modern. All rooms have a balcony, which is very convenient to enjoy the sunset or spend some time outside in the evening. The pool area is cozy and also with breathtaking views. My only suggestion is about the shower cubicle, which should have a door to avoid water splashing around the bathroom. ”

“A perfect hotel to spend a day in after arriving at the airport. Very nice pool terrace up top to enjoy the sun, some food and a drink. In the morning had a wonderful breakfast with a nice little walk around the town before heading out to Albuferia. Recommend”

“Staying in the Antika Guesthouse within the ancient walled city was amazing. You feel like you are part of the local community, in the middle of everything. Daria at check in was extremely helpful, recommending places to eat, things to do and the best coffee in the Balkans. The room was large and spotless, with everything you could need. A huge, very comfortable bed, fridge, bathroom, TV, kettle, tea/coffee. I had a wonderful time and was genuinely sad to leave. ”
