"My stay at the Best Western at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY was very disappointing. The mattress in my room was absolutely horrible, one of the worst I have ever slept on. I asked if something could be done about it, but nothing was ever resolved during my stay. The rooms are very outdated, and in the afternoon I had cold water in the shower, which is not what you expect after a long day. Housekeeping was also very poor. They forgot to replace towels, and I learned that you actually have to request room cleaning even if you are staying five nights. What made it worse was the attitude at the front desk. Every time I asked for help, the response was very defensive instead of helpful. There was no effort to work with me or solve the issues. The manager was also nowhere to be seen the entire time. Overall this hotel seems very poorly managed. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else."

"The room was not equipped with proper working fixtures and bathing towels two days second day bath towel was stained with blue dye Carpet was stained and the desk chair was in very poor condition the desk was sprayed with splatter pain the bed box spring was worn out"

"Decent to stay in if you’re not staying for a lengthy time. The rooms are not well lit. The showers water takes 15+ minutes to get hot. Hotel staff are friendly."
