We did have trouble getting in and couldn't contact the owners but after some time managed to get in (the issue was an internet issue making it difficult for us to log on to get the code for keys). “My family of four really enjoyed staying at this property! The location is perfect. It sits right above the Ionion Sea bay and the view from the balcony is amazing! It also sits right above a row of restaurants. During the day you could hear the hub-bub from there, but at night they shut down and it was so quiet and peaceful. The property was clean, temperature was easily controlled, and the beds comfortable. The location lends itself to local beauty, restaurants, and shops by walking. The host……

“Location was close enough to walk to Ortigia. Be aware that this flat is on 4th(5th) floor and no elevator. AC in two rooms only. We were there late August and temperature in the rest house was about 85F(29-30C). Dedicated parking at the back of the building.”

We spent 2 weeks in early October with both of us working remotely, and this spacious, extremely well thought-out apartment with a beautiful terrace was perfect. Wifi was fast and reliable, kitchen (including a rooftop kitchen!) was very well-appointed, with an oven that we used several times. Location couldn't be better, in a quiet, friendly little neighborhood just a 100m walk from Piazza Archimedes and no more than 10……
