「As always the room and linens where spotless. The room, spotless, the staff absolutely lovely. Always so welcoming and friendly. The only surprise was that this year i had to pay £5 for parking! A little disappointing seeing as the car park is within the hotel grounds?」

「Fabulous room on the 2nd floor, clena, very comfortable, everything you would need from a pint of milk to crumpets and butter, a wonderful bed (slept so well) shower and bath with the lovely handwash, shower gel, shampoo etc., I can't wait to stay again, it's very handy for the town centre and the Penny Blue served us wonderful meals」

「Very comfy room, with a hot shower. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps providing pleasant lighting, with armchairs to loll in and read. Quite a grand building, with interesting decor throughout; paperback books in shelves. Breakfast was very good too.」
