Winter getaway

Little Harbor is wonderful! Weather wasn’t too good, but many fun people around and always something to do. Our place was a great location and nice and roomy. Carmen was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed working with her. We hope to return for many years.

Very Nice stay

Unit was extremely spacious, with separate bedroom from living area. Check in and check out very easy. Only negative was the beach is currently closed apparently due to Red Tide but it could also be due to recent Hurricanes damage to fishing pier which is also closed. One area of improvement would be communication as the host Carmen did not always answer quickly to our questions.

Mesmerizing

The unit was so perfect and fully stocked with a cute kitchenette. The balcony is especially spacious and clean and provides an unobstructed view of the most beautiful sunsets. The host, Carmen, is excellent and dependable in every way. She was able to accommodate all my requests with no issues so she def made this stay as awesome as it could possibly be! The responsible and warm demeanor of Carmen and the beauty of the place will definitely bring me back again and again !

amazing sunrise and sunsets :-)

everything we could have asked for. we know the area quite well and was perfect getaway to visit friends. had a few questions when arrived but Carnen answered them quickly. pool were amazing, restaurants close by was a big plus. AMAZING views of both sunrise and sunsets. seen dolphins and manatees in the river. only bad experience was the water pressure in the shower. had to put it on pulse to get any pressure. overall amazing place to stay. we'll be back for sure.

Our Harbor getaway

It was everything we needed for some relaxation. Really enjoyed the Sunset Grill and having a sunset fire by the ocean.. Great hosts!

This was a great place to stay. View of the water from the spacious balcony was nice, very clean. Walk to swimming pool and restaurant was only a short distance. This resort has its own beach and plenty to do. There was plenty of room for my family to come over and visit with plenty of room to accommodate with a big kitchen. There are no elevators but the room is located near staircase and large balcony with lounge chairs. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.

Perfect sanctuary

The unit was clean and accommodated all of our needs. The Little Harbor grounds feels like paradise right when you pull in. Host was communicative and accommodating to last minute change.

All in one

Our stay in Ruskin was very enjoyable. The property is located within walking distance to restaurant, private beach, boat rentals and more. The property was clean and spacious. Needs a little updating ( Shower is Huge but, shower head does not work well) but overall, great place.

AMAZING

I've stayed at this resort before and it's always been a great place. Nice neighborhood. Nice amentities. The specific room i was in this time took all the cake. i mean comfy level on 100. loved the way it was decorated. Loved the specific location of the apt. To top it all off it had a double balcony. My only complaint is ever having to leave. A++

Relaxing at the Inn

The resort was everything that was advertised. Beach was clean and lovely. The hairdryer wasn't working, but a new one delivered in 2 hours. It would have nice if the ice machine was closer. The rooms were clean except for the floors. Our barefeet were black within a few minutes.

Hidden treasure.

Overall this property and surrounding area were great! The views were great and the grounds made you feel like you were at an all-inclusive. Walking distance to both restaurants, marina and pools. Did not feel crowded at all. Very fun and relaxing atmosphere! The apartment was well appointed. I would recommend a deep clean every 3-4 stays. Small issue with one fridge that was reported to the manager, along with the cleaning. She was very accommodating in taking care of these issues. I would definitely return to this condo. Directions when we arrived in Little Harbor were a bit confusing but the neighbors helped us out.

Wouldn't go back

They kept pushing me to leave a review I didn't want to but if you must know...we had the most issues with the smell, it starts in the hallway of the building and continues in to the room. The only time it didn't bother us was when someone was cooking in the building and it drownd out the mildew smell.The bed was sandy, and had a plastic cover on the matress, I spent the nights sweating, it was miserable. We didn't spend that much time there so maybe it would have been better if we were around more? That sounds dumb now that I say it but I dont like leaving a bad review. I honestly didn't want to leave a review but they kept asking for one.

The actual apartment was,fine but the checking in was dreadful. Our host was great at communication while money was being exchanged and invoices sent. She explained i would need to phone her on the day of checking in but the door code would be sent on the day. I messaged her via the app at least 5 or 6 times to say a,phone call. would not work as we had no phone with us and could she use email..she ignored every message and past the hour of check in we had no code. I borrowed a phone in desperation and called vrbo they could not raise her on the phone. Eventually in desperation i texted her which got a response they had,forgotten to send md a door code and were sorry. Six messages and three frantic days i will not forget and today a 10am check out and we had cleaners knocking on our door at 9.15am asking when we were,leaving. So a fairly good apartment but lousy management

Visiting relatives.

It is a short drive from Little Harbor to our relatives. It is a nice place to stay with food available, beach, a place for morning or evening walks. Quiet and peaceful after hours. Our condo was very comfortable and very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing

The condo was clean enough, although the bathroom could use some dusting (front of cabinets, baseboards, top of mirror). The bedding was unacceptable. The sheets appeared to have been washed, but the comforter, shams, pillows, and extra blanket smelled strongly of dirty hair and body odor. They had obviously not been cleaned in a while. There were no pillow protectors. Instead of using the smelly bedding, I went to a discount store and purchased two pillows, a blanket and a fleece throw to use during our stay. The wi-fi doesn’t require a password, which leaves connected devices vulnerable to tampering. On the morning of our last day, the cleaner arrived at 9:00 am. I told her that I wasn’t ready, and that check-out is at 10, and she just said OK and left. I had to make several trips to the car with our belongings. She was sitting in her car by the stairway and stared at me each time I walked by. We were gone by 9:40 am.

Great room and location

The room was very spacious, well stocked and clean. It was walking distance to everything...the beach, pools, restaurants, even the ice machine. The host was very responsive and even allowed early check-in on my request. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Little Harbor. The resort was clean and beautiful. The condo we stayed in was well maintained, and nicely furnished. The only problem we had was with the microwave, the door would not open. We notified the owner so it can be fixed for the next guest. We look forward to future visits here.

A Diamond that need a little Polishing - With Beautiful Sunsets

Communication, check-in and check-out were very easy. Spacious living/dining/kitchen and Bedroom/Bath. Plenty of closet and cabinet space. A bit lacking in kitchen utensils, plates and only a few pieces of cookware. Bath towels were cheap hotel quality. Overall nice place. Convenient location to both restaurants, pools and the beach area.
