「This is a beautiful hotel, the restaurant faces the pool gardens and the volcano. The rooms have air conditioning and you can flush tissue down the toilet. It may seem odd that I mentioned this, but these amenties are not common in Guatamala. The hotel is a few blocks from the main plaza. Highly recommend!!」

「Posada del Angel is a beautiful boutique hotel, everything from the decor to the artisanal soap feels thoughtful and considered. Being there feels peaceful, the place has a lot of soul. It was an excellent base for exploring Antigua. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and always there for anything you needed. The room and surrounds are kept very clean. We had four nights here and were sad to leave.」

A 15-20minute walk from the main area but it felt safe to walk and the area itself was nice. Also like that they have filtered water available in the kitchen area」

「They treat you like family - in the best ways. Helped us with transportation, not just from the airport but to various sights too. Enjoyed the filtered water and the fridge. Breakfast was so tasty. Great bed and fantastic views! Only improvements for the room....cleaner floors and a fan - wall or ceiling would be appreciated. I would go back in a heartbeat.」

「I loved the location! It was pretty central to everything with maybe the furthest thing being 20 min away. Juvia at the cafe was very nice and attentive! Only complaint was how rough or uncomfortable the mattress was.」

「Some rooms are too near to the street and you can hear all the noise of the passing vehicles and people, which will make you hard to sleep. During my stay, things got worse as a group of drunk folks were shouting at the street at 3:00 AM and it lasted for one hour keeping me awake for the whole time. No one came and stopped these guys. So always check the room before booking it.」
