Long weekend escape
Perfect peaceful weekend escape. All as described. Clean and tidy. No complaints from us and we will be back. Give the private and sheltered hot tub at least two hours to heat up, go for a walk along the beach just 30 seconds from your door when you get back it,ll be ready. The drop down bed v easy to use and v comfortable. With views over to Gigha and watching the ferry come and go a relaxing break.

Stay at the Carapod.
We had a lovely stay at the Carapod. The weather was excellent which was good because we were able to eat all of our meals outside. With very limited space this was just as well. We are an elderly couple so found it difficult to get in and out of the bed and the hot tub. Ideal for young people. We used the BBQ and enjoyed it.

A little gem
My husband and I loved our little ‘retreat’ in the Carapod. Really well equipped and great views. We particularly enjoyed the wood fired tub and bbq.

A blood stained headboard
The pod was very dirty. The headboard looked like blood had soaked into it. There were cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling, the bathroom blind was covered in mould, the dishes weren’t even clean. There was no toaster as stated, the beach cafe is a 45 minute walk from the pod, not a “short stroll” along the beach as stated in the email. The robes provided had been used by previous guests as they stunk and one was burnt. The fairy lights outside next to the hot tub were so dull they should be replaced. And to top it all off, there was someone outside the pod early hours this morning as me and my partner could hear them. To expect anyone to pay the price that you charge is absolutely shocking.

Perfect escape
Me and my other home came here for a weekend away/ break from city life. And we will be back again and again. The carapod is perfect, it has everything you need in a compact place, and yet it doesn't feel small. The location is idillic and perfect if you're a nature or water baby like me. Listening to the sea waves crashing in at night was the perfect way to end both our nights here. The owners are so helpful, there's a fantastic instruction book in the pod and anything you don't understand they're only a call away. The hot tub was sensational and easy to use. We can't wait to return.

CaraPod is an fabulous getaway in an outstanding location , with a gorgeous beach with incredible views. or relaxing in the hot job or on the veranda. The Pod is comfortable and well thought out.

Herrliches Plätzchen für alle, die eine ruhige Ecke suchen
Gemütliche kleine Wohnung, die sich dank eines Klappbetts von einem Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick in ein Wohnzimmer verwandeln lässt. Hot Tub und flauschige Handtücher ergänzen Wellness-Flair. Bei schönem Wetter ist auch die große Terasse ein toller Platz. Die ganze Anlage ist unglaublich ruhig und der lange Strand nur ein paar Schrite entfernt. Mit dem Auto kann man ganz Kintyre in Tagesausflügen erkunden, die Fähre zur Isle of Gigha ist zu Fuß (am Strand entlang!) zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren per WhatsApp bei Bedarf sofort erreichbar und sehr freundlich.

Excellent stay
It exceeded our expectations on peace and quiet , great place to make some memories and enjoy a walk at country side .Lovely Pod with everything you need including wi-fi which was helpful as we experienced loss of signal on our mobile phones ,great scenery and fresh air. A place to remain in our hearts as a great spot to bring our family in the future.

Was a beautiful relaxing weekend a bit too out of the way not even a local cafe to walk to for lunch
Over all a good experience although a lot of the stuff advertised wasn’t in the cabin and stuff that was in the welcome book wasn’t even In the cabin. Apart from that it was clean well supplied even provided shampoo and conditioner. Beautiful walks and scenery would recommend to anyone looking for a very laid back relaxed holiday look forward to returning in the future

The host was lovely when we seen her loved the location away from everyone and everything as for the pod itself its very hit and miss like the bed should be a bed not a fold out couch were there was a big gap between the head rest and the mattress also nearly split my head open on the hoist bit near top of mattress that should be covered mattres was comfy the kitchen not going to lie is abit of a piss take there's just no worktop space what so ever very cramped but did have every essential that you could possibly need in a kitchen the bathroom the shower took some time to work out to get a stable temperature the woodburning hottub was interesting to say the least relaxing at first but after a while felt boggin sitting in it fishing wee things out with the net overall it was peaceful beautiful place that would be ideal for only a couple of nights

Gorgeous location on the beach, perfect for romantic break
I booked this to celebrate my partners birthday. It was the perfect relaxing place to stay. The hot tub was gorgeous and we spent hours in there on an overcast day. The next day was gorgeously sunny and we took the ferry to Gigha which was absolutely stunning. We loved being right on the beach and the views were to die for

Carapod was well equipped, even with Bbq and deck chairs outside to make the stay even better. Steps away from an amazing beach, the view from the carapod is simply amazing.

Special Birthday break
Beautiful location and the pod is exactly what we hoped it would be. It has everything you need and more for a relaxing break. The bath robes, slippers, chocolates and wine made it so special to enjoy a 40th Birthday break. Very private hot tub area with lovely fairy lights and even a BBQ. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place for a peaceful or romantic get away
What can I say perfect in every way situated perfectly seconds from the beach, the hottub was just amazing in a nice wee secluded area next to the pod, I would recommend stocking up before you go.... Essentials are there like tea coffee sugar oils and some other bits and bobs but if you want dinner you are 20 miles either way from anywhere to eat and no delivery service available (just think it good to know these things before you go)but definately didn't detract for the time both had Will definately be back for another weekend away..... Thanks for having us xx

Had a lovely weekend. The carapod was clean and tidy. The chocolates were a lovely treat. The hit tub was lovely and warm to use on arrival. Unfortunately the wind was high so hot tub only used one night. But was beautiful views and very peaceful to recharge. Highly recommend

Fantastic stay, highly recommend!

Wet weekend stay
Lovely location, nice clean pod with the hot tub. Only thing I could suggest to make it a tad better would be some sort of gazebo to keep the rain away while in the hot tub as it wasn't very relaxing having the rain batter down off your face and barely keep your eyes open but asides the weather it was an amazing stay and I would certainly go back.

So glad you had a great stay, sorry you had a bit of rain but unfortunately the west coast of Scotland can be inclement at times. We have tried a gazeebo but the winds were too strong in bad weather and other guests have said they prefer it open..even in the rain! We look forward to welcoming you back in warmer weather. Thanks

Beautiful place
The Carapod is a cute wee cabin right next to the sea. There are other static caravans close to the cabin but they dont detract from the privacy when using the hottub. We unfortunately had issues with the fairy lights not working but one set was able to be fixed which made the hottub lovely at night. When i asked for more wood for the hottub, i was unfortunately made to feel like this was a big problem and multiple texts questioning my wood usage despite my acknowledgement that this would cost money to restock. Apart from that wee blip i really enjoyed my time here - beautiful location and comfortable wee cabin.

Spent 3 nights at the CaraPod and wow it was amazing. Greet location on the beach, ideal for paddle boarding and the views were stunning. The pod had everything you could ask for and more. Will definitely return.

Summer Getaway
The pod it’s self was lovely however we do think the cleanliness of some areas let it down slightly, although I feel the issue may be reliant on the previous guests not recharging the hoover and poor cleaning of the cutlery/dishes it was something I was not expecting to be sorting on our first night. The view onto the beach was lovely and was the best part about the pod. The outdoor area at the back was lovely and private. The hot tub was nice and hot which was lovely (prepared for our arrival, thanks!) but we found sediment came out of the pipes so I had to keep fishing it out with the net which wasn’t very relaxing. Although they’re a few minor things, overall our stay was very pleasant in a beautiful location. The owners had placed some special touches in our pod which made us feel very special and thought of. Overall it was a pleasant stay with beautiful views.

Anniversary trip
The property was amazing me and my partner stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The hut is everything you could ask for. Clean tidy with a kitchen, fridge and freezer. 2 seconds from the beach. Amazing views and sunsets. Was even super lucky on the weather being spot on to view a meteor shower as well. Fantastic wood burning hot tub and trust me it gets hot was very toasty looking at the stars. Loungers and chairs outside plus a gas BBQ. These guys have thought of everything to make such a nice little pod

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the CaraPod. The pod is modern/clean and has everything you can think of! The surroundings are stunning and the hot tub was just amazing. On arrival there was a bottle of prosecco and 2 bottles of water in the fridge - this wee touch made 2 hot passengers very happy. My only downside was the fencing that surrounds the rear/ hot tub...I felt there wasn't enough privacy when you were standing. (I am tall though!). This however did not have an impact on stay as a whole. I will definitely be back again. 😊

Excellent chill out break
Booked this for my partners 40th and sent up banners and balloons. Which was placed over the pod looked amazing. The pod looks small but so much room wen inside. Outstanding views and champagne in fridge and hot tub all hot n ready for us wen we got there. Amazing stay at the Carapod
Staying at the Carapod was amazing from start to finish and went beyond our expectations. My partner and I stayed for two nights and we could have stayed for longer due to our amazing experience while there. The Carapod is placed in a beautiful romantic setting, the views were amazing. The hot tub was fabulous and very secluded, lovely at night with the fairy lights. Be prepared for midges at night! The only negative was we read there was quad bike experience close by (this was not written by the owner) however Rebecca (the owner) kindly informed us this is no longer an activity near by. Rebecca was lovely, very friendly and available when we needed. Rebecca also gave us a recommendation to visit the Island of Gigha which we did before heading home. This was a fabulous recommendation and we are extremely glad we went, it was beautiful! We will definitely return to the Carapod just disappointing it is booked until September or we would have returned sooner!

Perfect Wee Getaway
We loved our stay in Carapod! Went for two nights before Christmas and we love it, it looked exactly like the pictures, the view was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked. Lots of utensils and even had oil for cooking. The owner even gave us a lift to our bus on the last day because it was raining!

We had a lovely time for our anniversary the hot tub was amazing and even though we had bad weather ( our fault Scottish November weather haha) but we still had a great time. And we were able to use hot tub when it wasn’t raining. Bit dark outside tho more fairy lights around the hot tub area would have been great

Amazing short get away!
Would recommend! Amazing short stay. Lovely place and perfect get away to escape!! Kitchen could be a bit cleaner, as in the cupboard and oven etc!
