Casa Boa Vista

This house is really nice and cosy and in a very secluded area about 10 minutes drive from Tavira. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need and the pool is great (just a few steps down to the pool area). Tavira itself is a lovely, quiet town with a relaxed feel.

Lovely villa in a wonderful location

We had a lovely week in the villa. It was just as we expected from the villa description and guest comments. Loved breakfasting looking out over the pool and the hills beyond, so peaceful. You definitely need a hire car as access is up long narrow roads/ tracks but it is so worth it. The beds were really comfortable and the villa is well stocked with all that you could need. The television is fairly modest but that was not an issue at all with the beautiful views to look at. We had never been to Portugal before and loved Tavira and the surrounding area. It felt like the real Portugal, beautiful and not too commercialised. Caterina the property manager was excellent, really helpful and the house guide book was also great with lots of ideas of where to visit. Many thanks for a lovely week!

Relaxing stay in a lovely location

The house was great, just outside of Tavira & with fantastic views of the surrounding area. Despite being away from the town it was only a 10-15 minute drive to all the beaches & some great restaurants. The house was exactly as described & the beds were comfortable, which is important. The check in was also excellent as the staff at Happy Homes Algarve we’re lovely. Thanks Catarina!

Wonderful Private Villa With Pool

What a lovely villa. Very private, not overlooked at all. Fantastic views towards the hills northwards and, from the upstairs terrace, to the sea. A car is a must, you are 1km from the main road but we liked that as it was so peaceful. Excellent management service, as was the cleaning lady and pool/maintenance man. Couldn’t fault the villa at all.

Fantastic week by the pool

We visited Casa Boa Vista in 2018 and loved the short stay we had and we were determined to go back. This time to a now heated pool making the whole place much more attractive! The house was as lovely as always, with plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and eat, and room around the pool to catch some sun and just recharge - which was exactly what we wanted. The secluded location makes this a great self catering venue, with 2 good supermarkets a short drive away. Other than that you have the town of Taveria a short drive away and the place is a good jumping off point to other day trips around the Algarve (we spent a day in Spain which was lovely). You do need a hire car to really get out and enjoy the local area, there’s nothing in walking distance so if walking to local bars appeals - this is probably not for you. But if you’re looking for a lovely, well maintained, quiet, peaceful stay (and this is a very quiet location) this place is brilliant, a lovely house, great views and great agent to deal with. Couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you

Erholung pur!

Für uns war es der perfekte Urlaub. Abseits vom Trubel, aber trotzdem nah an allem dran. Das Haus ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, egal ob wandern, Strand oder Stadtbesichtigungen. Das Haus selber liegt oben auf einem Berg, es ist einfach und komfortabel zugleich. Man spürt überall die liebevolle Hand der Eigentümerin, was sich auch in dem von ihr wohl permanent alktualisierten Hausbuch mit Restauranttipps und Ausflugsempfehlungen widerspiegelt. Kulinarisch ist Tavira ohnehin ein Genuss, hier findet man sowohl Tapas Restaurants als auch die ursprüngliche portugiesische Küche. Auch hervorzuheben ist das Engagement der Hausverwalter, Gärtner, Putzfrau etc,., alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Hinter dem Haus wurde über das Feld ein schmaler Weg angelegt, unser abendliches Highlight war es am Ende des Weges mit einem Glas Wein den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Der mit Solar beheizte Swimmingpool mit Blick über die Berge, auch wunderbar! Fazit: Wir waren von unserm Urlaub völlig begeistert und werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Perfekte Tage in einem wunderbaren Haus

Ein perfekter Kurzurlaub. Das Haus liegt oben auf einem Berg, Tavira mit seinen vielen kleinen Restaurants ist aber trotzdem schnell erreichbar. Die Casa Boa Vista ist einfach, aber sehr liebevoll und mit sehr guter Qualität eingerichtet. Das Haus hat eine ganz eigene wunderbare Atmosphäre. Man spürt, dass sich die Eigentümerin um das Haus kümmert. Sauberkeit und Organisation des Verwalters sind top. Begeistert hat uns besonders der Pool (geheizt mit Fotovoltaik) und die Aussicht in die Berge. Das Feld hinter dem Haus lädt zu kleinen Abendspaziergängen ein. Auch einfach wunderbar sind die verschiedenen Terrassen des Hauses, so dass man bei jedem Wetter draußen sitzen kann. Wir waren total begeistert und kommen definitiv wieder!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Angekommen und wohlgefühlt von der ersten Minute. Der Pool mit 28 Grad Wassertemperatur und der Weitblick in die verschiedenen Himmelsrichtungen sind einfach sensationell. Absolut ruhig gelegen und mit dem Auto trotzdem schnell auf der Autobahn. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Summer 2022

The house is located a short drive from Tavira on a hillside with a beautiful view. From the roof top terrace you could even spot the ocean. We enjoyed 2 weeks of vacation in this house and found it was perfect for our family with two small children. The pool is located with a beautiful view over the orange orchards and vineyards and there are many seating possibilities around the house. My kids especially enjoyed the pool and of course also the surroundings with lots of animals (gekkos, bunnies etc) The house is very clean and has all the facilities that you need. As we stayed there for two weeks we even had a cleaning lady coming over after a week to clean and change the linen. It is a perfect spot to relax and discover Algarve and also to take trips over to Spain.

Schöner Familienurlaub bei Tavira

Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern (1 und 5 Jahre) eine tolle Woche in einem bezaubernden Haus! Das Haus ist hell und lichtdurchflutet und sehr gut ausgestattet ( Gewürze, Küchenutensilien, Waschmaschine etc….). Sowohl der Blick in das hügelige Hinterland als auch der Blick von der Dachterrasse bis zum Meer sind fabelhaft! Dir Lage ist ruhig, dennoch ist die Autobahn in 5-10 min erreich (aber nicht hörbar), die Terrassen sind schön angelegt und gepflegt! Der Pool ist über einen kleinen Weg von der Küchenterrasse aus erreichbar, so dass es auch mit Kleinkindern zu verantworten und gut zu organisieren ist! Eine Terrasse ist auch vom Poolbereich gänzlich getrennt. Die Temperatur des Pools war Anfang März stets zwischen 28 und 29 grad, perfekt zum täglichen Baden auch für Kinder. Wir würden das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
