“Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++. So between the ridiculous pillows and the rumble all night, sleep was minimal. The TV was beyond frustrating - two different remotes that each do their own thing, they……

“We stayed in the older part of the hotel overlooking the lake, so we had a great view every morning. There was a window open when we arrived, making the room fresh! The room had 4 or 5 good lamps or lights around the room, so everyone had good lighting! Breakfast was always available in the morning with real blueberries!! Staff were so friendly and kept everything so clean!!”

“I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.”

We stayed in the Sunrise suite and were surprised at JUST how how open the door plan was - there was no partition whatsoever between bedroom and bathroom, and had a full view of toilet and shower from our bed. This would be a lovely room for a single person, but an awkward setup for two people, as there was no privacy for bathroom use. The kitchen and shared space was comfortable and beautifully designed with lots of plants and……
