Welcome to The View in Shaldon, a beautiful spacious three-bedroom home from home with idyllic views across Teignmouth and Lyme Bay. Perfect for families and friends, the welcoming interior boasts a modern and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor and comfortable furnishings throughout. The floors are beautifully painted and distressed, adding a charming shabby chic touch. The living room provides a fantastic space for family, cozy around the log burner on colder evenings, with TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi included during your stay. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including all modern conveniences and an additional dining table.From the kitchen/dining area, step out onto the balcony where you can relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. It\'s an idyllic spot for savoring a morning coffee or unwinding with a good book.The property boasts three generously sized bedrooms, two double rooms both with en-suite, and one twin room with pull-out trundle beds, creating space for up to 8. Please note the trundle beds are suitable for children only, with a maximum of six adults allowed at this home. If all beds are required, one will be placed in the twin room to sleep up to three, with the final bed in the double room for additional floor space.Teignmouth is a charming coastal town, renowned for its beautiful beaches, vibrant promenade, and bustling town center. Guests can take a stroll along the sandy shore, or for the more adventurous thrill seekers, water sports such as surfing, paddleboarding, or kayaking are a must. Or perhaps visit the Teignmouth Pier, a Victorian gem that offers stunning views of the Devonshire coastline, along with The Pavilions which offers live performances, music and cinema.Parking is available on the driveway of the property for up to two vehicles. Vanaf de binnenkomst in het huis is het verblijf een teleurstelling geweest. Qua hygiëne en comfort was het huis erbarmelijk.Het huis staat te koop en lijkt door de eigenaar aan zijn lot overgelaten te zijn. Vlekken en haren op de lakens en handdoeken, schimmel in de wasmachine, een stinkende vaatwasser, spinnenwebben langs keukenkasten en televisie, kruimels in het bankstel, en grote vochtplekken in de houten vloer.Naast het slechte comfort werkt de beloofde WiFi niet en er zijn er eetstoelen voor 6 i.p.v. 8 personen.De tussenpersoon (Finest Retreats) is goed bereikbaar, maar lijkt niet in staat om te schouwen hoe de staat van het huis is. Ze hebben een schoonmaakster geregeld, maar lijken verder niet te beseffen dat dit huis niet (meer) verhuurbaar is.Samengevat: voorkom een zelfde teleurstelling als wij hebben ervaren en kijk naar andere objecten in Shaldon.Shaldon zelf is namelijk een prachtige plaats aan de kust met een fantastisch uitzicht op de zee en de tegenoverliggende plaats Teignmouth.
