We really liked the room and the stay. We have stayed in this hotel twice and this room was great. We will be back again. Front desk reps were friendly and nice especially when it came to my service dog, some places are disrespectful when it comes to service animals but they were very nice.
We loved having this upstairs, corner unit where we could listen to the sounds of the river. Nothing in Telluride is cheap but we got a decent value all things considered, well-stocked kitchen and easily walkable to town, the gondola, and popular trails. Plenty of parking in the nearby lot (a short walk to our building) and very relaxing space. Even the sofa bed was pretty comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook dinner one night.
Property is exactly as represented in the listing and photos. Furniture is old but clean and functional. Walking distance to everything. Open the window and listen to the river all day and night. Management was very helpful and friendly, very easy to work with.
Clean, simple one bedroom room with a full kitchen. Seemed very spacious, dog friendly was great. Right near the bottom of the lift and the parking lot. Also right next to the River trail. Couple minutes walk to town.
We liked the location, views, and size of the unit
The couch and chairs are worn out and not comfortable, plenty of other options when we travel again to telluride
It snowed during our visit and it was lovely having the corner suite so we could see the river. We just parked the car and left it since we could walk anywhere we needed!

Corner Unit
We had a great stay, however we felt this unit was over-priced for the quality. It is Telluride, however!

Great location
Although this location is great and I was looking for a place with a kitchen. This is an INN with a kitchen. Meaning kitchenware is very minimal not much to work with. Also for a $3400 price tag to stay. You would think that the hand soap they provide would be bigger than the size of a quarter but it’s not.
We originally booked the property to attend the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival. Once that was cancelled, we decided that we still wanted a weekend in Telluride. The property is spacious, and clean. The office staff are friendly and helpful, and check in was easy. The decor was fairly basic, but it had everything that you might need, including a kitchen. The property has creekside views, which is lovely, and has plenty of light. It is convenient located near a river walk and within 5-6 blocks of downtown.
This property was spacious and functional, and did the job for a ski weekend. The kitchen was sparsely furnished, mostly for reheating food. Not real cooking will go on there. The bedroom had plenty of space to lay out suitcases. The kitchen and bathroom are 30 years old with an old shower valve that doesn’t modulate temperature very well: either very hot or lukewarm. Nothing in the middle. It does have parking in Carhenge, which can be a slippery schlep with luggage, but at least it’s there.
This condo had everything we needed and the King bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed being on the 2nd floor & no condo above us (note: no elevator) and hearing the creek gurgling by. The creek path is steps away and a fun walk to shops and restaurants and the free gondola ride! Small coffee packets are provided but the office gave us filters so we could use our own coffee. Very quiet for our Wed-Sat. AM stay. Prepare to get take-out food or bring some of your own as restaurants at 50% capacity and some are take-out only. It worked fine for us and we used the full kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Only salt/pepper & sugar packets provided due to COVID, so bring your own condiments.

Misleading description in a Vacation site
This is a managed property, not a private condo/residence. It was clean, but it is old...very little (and cheap) kitchen items, and the bathroom soap the management co gives you (I kid you not) is the size of the lid on my contact case. Furniture is very dated. This is just an investment property, owners have probably not been there in a decade. When we look for vacation rentals, they are privately owned. Owner offers up anything in their homes/condos for use that is used by the private owner (think spices, oils, shampoos, etc). This is just an empty kitchen with minimal utensils, old cookware, etc and a mice trap under the sink (yuck). Good for a young person just hitting up the slopes, but a weekly stay, not so much. Expensive for what you get - We had to go pick up our own towels, used towels left in hallway (by others) sat there for days. It was like a college dorm. Given the cost of living in Telluride, these units should just be rented out to the young kids working the slopes, restaurants and area...affordable housing. Disappointing that managed rental units are allowed on VRBO and other sites, without more clarity on what type of unit it really is.
It is a wonderful location, within ten minute walk to downtown Telluride and right on the river, nice and pet friendly too, along the river walking path as well. We would have enjoyed another bar or liquid hand soap at the kitchen sink as only one small bar was provided at the bathroom sink. We also didn't know how to take trash out so information would have be helpful for that. Also there were a few mouse droppings each morning on kitchen stove and in our dogs food bowl that was empty but on the ground so a few mouse traps may have been helpful, but never was a huge issue. Overall was a clean apartment with everything provided in the kitchen for the most part and towels provided, nice comfortable furniture and bed, and prime location to town.
We really enjoyed our stay and so did our pup! Great fully equipped unit close to everything. We really enjoyed hearing the river when the windows were open and being able to cook since most restaurants were closed due to COVID. Views were amazing! Thanks for a perfect weekend!
Our unit at Mountainside Inn was affordable, spacious, and conveniently located along the San Miguel River and walking path. We could hear the river flowing from our room which made for a peaceful evening. The staff at Mountainside was very accommodating. I have already recommended this place to friends and look forward to another visit soon.
