"The best thing about this hotel is its location and view. It’s severely overpriced considering absolutely terrible service - they don’t seem to know how to clean - the tired furniture, bad mattress and pillows, outdated and poorly functioning plumbing. Wish there were better alternatives nearby."

"The staff are AMAZING!! They were the best part of our hotel stay-although everything was terrific. Clean rooms and WOW! THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed and pillows. I slept like a log and haven’t done that in years. I’m going to ask them what brand of mattresses/pillows they use-not kidding. They are not only pet friendly there but they are pet LOVERS! Just plain nice people. Our stay was quiet. The scenery unmatched as we had a balcony that over looks the St Lawrence DIRECTLY. We can see the castle right across the water. I can’t say enough about this place."

"I would suggest one or two towel bar. Also one more small tables in the room. The small towel bar was over the toilet so you have no place to hang damp towels. Also only one night stand between beds with a lamp filling the surface. But over all very nice for the price."

"Our stay at sunset cottage was absolutely incredible. From the clean, beautifully furnished and fully stocked cottage to the gorgeous views, this stay has been spectacular. Keith has been an attentive host while staying out of our way, why most of the time we didn’t even know he was on the island with us. Already looking forwards to future stays"

"We had a great stay. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 and our chocolate lab. It had everything we needed and more. Alice was most helpful and showed us everything. Fishing was fantastic right off the dock. We rented a boat from Riverybay also! Great stay!"
