"We discovered Bahia del Sol completely by accident and are so lucky we did! After having problems the first night of our trip with a Vrbo booking, we came to Bahia Del Sol and immediately felt welcomed. The room was clean and spacious and the entire resort had an incredible ambience. Staff were very attentive; at any point that we needed assistance they immediately responded. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We especially enjoyed the happy hour where you could sit and watch the sunset over the water. We loved the easy access to the beach and proximity to the marina and shops nearby. After such a stressful beginning to our trip, we were so appreciative to have found such a beautiful resort and ended up extended our stay. We will definitely be back! "

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and loved the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and outdoor seating area. The pool is large and warm and we had it all to ourselves all 3 days we went swimming. (Closes at 7pm so slight improvement would be longer hours.) Grocery store a couple minute walk away so very convenient if you want to get supplies for some meals. Location would feel inconvenient if you do not have a rental car. (Beach access is a long walk). But with a car we loved how it was central to so many beaches! Tip: bring your own dish soap and cloth as they don’t provide. Also the beds are only made up with sheets, but when we asked for blankets it was no issue to get them."

"Fantastic beach house in Potrero. Has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. 7 large bedrooms each with a bathroom makes spreading out with a large family work. Pool was great for when beach was too hot. Ice machine was a plus. I would 100% rent golf cart again to explore the multiple beaches in the area and expand food options. Jimmy was a pleasure to help schedule a private chef to cook along with booking excursions and airport transportation. It’s not inexpensive but worth it if you are looking for a beach house in Costa Rica."

"This home is amazing! Views and sunsets are incredible. Everything was clean and working. We loved the location close to everything in town. Walkable, but we enjoyed having a golf cart. Communication with the owner and property manager were seamless. We ordered groceries ahead which was a great feature too. Highly recommend this property. It was perfect for the whole family!"

"Our stay at this Playa Potrero Vrbo was truly incredible and exceeded every expectation.We had a group of 17 ranging from 11 months to 67 years old, and it was perfect for everyone. The kids loved boogie boarding at the beach, pool time, and volleyball, while the adults were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. It’s rare to find a place that works so well for all ages, but this one absolutely does.The communication was above and beyond — thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring. We felt so well taken care of from start to finish.Chef Kattya was a huge highlight, creating an unforgettable private chef dinner for my 40th birthday and a beautiful birthday brunch for my mom. Both meals were amazing and so special.The staff went out of their way to make our stay magical, including surprising the kids with a hidden Easter candy hunt. And when my nephew needed stitches, they even gave my brother’s family a ride to the hospital — truly above-and-beyond care.We also enjoyed phenomenal massages on the property.This home is more than a rental — it’s an experience filled with warmth and hospitality. We’re already dreaming of coming back!"

"An amazing place to stay! Perfect for a beach escape, with the quiet beach just a quick walk away. It has everything you need, a lovely pool, is impeccably clean, perfect layout, comfortable beds, and feels very safe in a great location. We only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The ocean in the area had a stinging creatures which made it non-enjoyable. We had to go to a neighboring town to swim in the ocean. The locals said that these creatures are present in the ocean from November till April. The pool at the hotel is relatively small: only 5-6 people would fit comfortably in it. "
