「The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica...

「Every single thing about my stay was 10/10. The kindness from the team, they went above and beyond to give me a great weekend! The room was stunning, so comfortable and clean. Wonderful ammenities. I don’t have a single complaint except for that I couldn’t stay more days! Can’t wait to come back to Detroit and Shinola hotel!」

「Even though there was no pool and hottub whicj i perfer the room that i had was a one bedroom with a sofa bed. It was also a check in and out kinda deal. Made me a little nervous but it worked out ok. I had to wait for i got there early. The area because it was next to a 711 store was sketchy so i was glad to at leaste get in the building. The room was wonderful!! I loved it 」

「I was very impressed all around. Very charming historical location. Classy place. Grotto spa was relaxing. Staff was nice. Very few people around so the hotel had an exclusive feel to it. Not knowing where I was in Detroit when I booked it, everything was walkable for me. Maybe not for everyone but I even walked to and from the arena from my hotel in the cold. Great stay. 」
