“Super nice staff. I found this place after a paid booking was cancelled at another hotel. A little further out that I would like but it was worth it. I got to check out some local bars in Charlotte. A big shout out to Frank. He checked me in and the other staff was very friendly. If you want something clean, inexpensive and not a bad drive to MSU, check out this place.”

“The hotel is undergoing renovations and I think a change of ownership. The sign still says it’s a Clarion but it’s advertised as Lansing Delta West. The room was a bit shabby but clean, comfortable and spacious. I could hear guests on both sides through the walls and they were not being overly noisy. The grounds, sidewalks and common areas are currently in poor condition which I assume will be taken care of as renovations continue. There is a large indoor pool and patio area that looks like it……

“I had a reservation and when I got there they claimed they couldn't find it. So I had to go to another hotel. But then they charged me for the hotel stay for the reservation they claimed they couldn't find. I've been trying to get a refund for two weeks and keep getting the run around, even after the manager said she couldn't find my reservation either. I believe they resold my room and that's why they couldn't find my reservation and don't want to admit it.”

“Avoid this hotel at all costs. The hotel looked like it was abandoned. The exterior was damaged and poorly maintained. The hallways smelled of marijuana and the drop ceiling in the hallway had holes. I thought we were on candid camera at first. It seriously looked like an abandoned hotel from a movie.
I consider the money lost a donation to Expedia.”
