The house has a feeling of seclusion while being within 20 minutes of downtown Wellsboro & minutes away from various trails and overlooks of the PA Grand Canyon. The hosts were very friendly and communicative which allowed for a very smooth and easy check-in/out process. Hope we can visit again soon!"

"Old hotel with a lot of history and character. 150 years old approx, but celebrated 100 years in July of current name. Not for everyone, but lots of charm, in a fun little downtown area. Staff were great, rooms are "old fashioned" (even keys for the doors). But fun nostalgia"

"Desk staff was excellent and got us into our room early which was greatly appreciated. Location is close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and the larger style refrigerator came in handy. Will continue to stay at the Sherwood every time we stay in Wellsboro. Also the most reasonably price room in the area."
