Bed in double room was very comfy
Kitchen was well stocked
Cons -
Chalet smelt very damp and musty
Daughter slept on sofa due to strong smell in twin room
Handles missing on some windows so couldn’t be opened .
Marks and stains on twin bedroom wall, little table and sofa .
No hot water connected to bathroom basin.
Bathroom needs deep clean
Bathroom door lock doesn’t work
Had to buy towels as chalet ones smelt after 1 use
Twin bedroom door sticks daughter couldn’t get out
No mobile……
“Enjoyed a couple of nights at The Hoops for a weekend family get together. Excellent gastropub menu with huge portions for dinner and breakfast, comfortable superior room and super service, inside and outside in secluded beer garden. On a main road so front facing rooms a little noisy but not really a big issue in the overall scheme of things. Recommended.”

They offer a packed lunch for the next day which is definitely needed for the walk from Hartland way to Bude! ”
