"I had a last minute/ emergency trip to see my daughter who is at UCLA. I could not afford the regular chain hotels that I am used too because they were over $500 a night! Thank goodness this hotel was reasonable!! We arrived at the LA Sky Hotel on a Friday around 4pm. We parked easily and were helped by ANDREA. She immediately made us feel welcome. She had a line of people when we arrived and was helping everyone without rushing people along. She checked us in and her service was excellent. After checking into our room, we cane to the lobby and she gave us restaurant recommendations within walking distance. We ate at two of them over our two night stay and she was spot on. She would greet us when we came out of our room with a cheerful “Hello! Is it dinner time? Or, Good morning, or How was the beach?”. This visit was better because Andrea created a friendly atmosphere. I do not write reviews but she definitely will be the reason I stay there again. I was also thankful it was a quiet hotel as I do not sleep well away from home. I will need to come back frequently and hope the management knows how good employees like Andrea really do make a huge difference to their customers. Thank you Andrea, for making our stay better by being so kind, helpful and thoughtful."
