“When we arrived at around 1pm, I asked front desk if we can check in earlier, they said no room available at the moment, told me to come back at around 2.30pm, so we came back at 2.30pm, they said they’re still cleaning the room, told us either waiting at the lobby or they contacted us when the room is ready, so we chose wait at the lobby. Eventually we only can check in at 3.30pm, they even didn’t apologize for the delay. Also they only provides valet parking for $25, actually we managed to……

“Good room. In a nice area. It surprised us when we arrived that parking was $10/day plus a $1 processing fee that had to be paid online. There was a 25 minute wait for breakfast @ 9:30 am. ”

“Nice and quiet place. Tasty breakfast. The beds were comfortable. It had a bathtub, mini fridge and microwave. Thank you for a good nights rest during our stay. There were some stains at the door stop and tiny allying crumbs on the bed but overall great stay close to places I needed to go to in Santa Cruz. ”

“Comfortable room with balcony (a plus). Enjoyed the entertainment and lounge area. Dinner was enjoyable. Staff at the diner and front office were very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the stay among the redwoods in this historical lodge.”
