"We have a late arrival (3 AM). Check in process was efficient. The room was clean, the shower may require an upgrade, but a seaside view… priceless. Food was excellent and abundant with variety every night. The Senegalese night Buffett was delicious and the entertainment with local music, drums and dance was fabulous. We left behind a traveling board game (our fault) only to be handed back to us at check out. Massage was relaxing and well done. The prices on the store are same or better than at the local market outside the resort. The beach is spotless clean and resort staff is there all the time providing security and service. If you are curious about Senegal and want a small resort feel…. This is the resort for you! "

"Everything! Stayed there twice over the span of two weeks.(We were traveling around Senegal). Very clean, exceptionally helpful staff, good food and great service. Not that far from the airport. A beautiful oasis to kickback and recover from the flight and from the drive accross Senwgal to Kolda and back"

"Clean rooms right on a splendid beach. A/c and mosquito nets included. Many stores and services available on Hospital street just a few steps away. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable and free beach chairs provided by the hotel. Good breakfast, don't miss out on the delicious bissap juice, but could be served earlier say 6h30 instead of 7h30am for those going to Dakar or Bandia. "

"The room was space & clean . Comfortable bed. Refrigerator is small but kept clean. Bathroom has floor tiles ,however the shower area is wide open & water spills out ( walk carefully to avoid falling ) there’s a safe but it is not bolted down & can be easily moved. The bathroom door has keys but doesn’t lock. TV works great . Small balcony but nice & clean. Closet is big & clean . When we booked on Expedia it says the hotel provides a shuttle : #1 , we emailed 3 times no , response . Called & spoke to staff. Staff said there will a shuttle…. it is a taxi driver ( Raymond Diop ) directed us to talk Bernard ( staff in charge ) he didn’t give us the price from Dakar airport to Hotel Residence Khadija. Raymond took me to buy supplies ( second trip ) drop us back to the airport for a grand total of $100. We sincerely believe we over paid & they ( Bernard & Raymond ) never offered to make it right . The food was excellent. Kitchen staff need customer service training, they seemed timid & no warm welcome/smiles. I had fish Yassa ,that I will recommend. The pool is beautiful & clean with an outdoor shower to rinse off . There was a conference going on with folks speaking into a loudspeaker fairly late & early in the morning. Made it hard to rest/sleep. Reception/front desk was good . The hotel is fairly close to the airport ,which makes it an ideal place to stay if you are on transit. Wouldn’t mind stay here but will have to see some tangible improvements. "
