"I had to clean the room myself, and bedding were offered to be changed only once in the week. Water in the bathroom strangely stopped and led to usage of a bucket instead. "Villa Somone was a wonderful home base for our trip! Papa, our host, was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His hospitality really made the experience special. The villa was about 45 minutes from the airport and 1.5 hours from downtown Dakar. We opted for a private cook through Papa at an additional cost, and it was absolutely worth it — the meals were fantastic, and having that option made our stay even more...

NO WHERE ON THE LISTING does it state you have to pay for such basic things that you’d think comes with a villa… maybe he only tried to get me to do this who knows because I read reviews before booking. I made sure to take a picture of the note. Nice space otherwise and could use some air fresheners in the bathrooms."

"We just returned from a month-long stay at Ker Yaye Fatou. As a large family of 7 it offered us more than enough space to fully enjoy one another’s company! Both Mr. Mbaye and Armando Mane made sure all of our needs were met. The house was cleaned daily by Seynabou. which we really appreciated. Mane went out of his way to answer any questions as well as secure and maintain the property. It is a beautiful spacious home not far from the beach, Diamniadio, Yène and Popenguine. The pool was well...
