"It's a motel style but conditions are pretty good. There are microwave, refrigerator, complimentary breakfast. Of course, the breakfast is very small. But you got fresh milk and fresh fruits!"

"No breakfast menu…. It’s the same food everyday…. The staff was great until the manager Michelle took my card information for a “deposit” but charged me $163.00 for a night stay when I already paid through hotels.com. I told her this and she saw this in the system. I thought she took my card for a deposit until I asked for a receipt…. That’s when I saw it wasn’t for a deposit. She charged me double for one night in hopes I wouldn’t recognize the charge and they can steal $163.00 from me because the register would have a cash overage…. That’s an old trick that cashiers use to pocket money at the end of their shift. Michelle will smile in your face and try to rob you, so if you stay at this hotel make sure you are dotting your i’s & crossing your T’s or you will have some unexpected charges on your bank statement because they are broke…. "

"Overall, it was fine. BUT when we went down to breakfast and there was no bacon and the waffle mix was empty, the worker said “well, we stop putting food out about now.” It was 8:20 am and the breakfast hours were 6-9am. Unimpressed with the customer service. "

"The hotel was a great place to stay. Casino was nice (no smoke that we noticed), rooms were clean (although the hotel was set up so that if you're in the far complex, its a long walk to the casino). Parking is easy. Although we did have to initially change rooms due to a couple of maintenance issues, the staff was very responsive and got us situated in another room very quickly. We did find out that the hotel and casino are changing ownership, so our hope is that the new owners take as good care of the place and staff as the current owners. Thank you for a good night at Maverick Hotel/Casino."
