Las Gaviotas Fun

Great property! There is plenty of room for two families in the common areas. The house is on the second road off of the ocean so it doesn't sit right on the highway which is nice. We had a great time cooking, playing games, and visiting the beach. The owner is very responsive and helpful!

Family reunion

Perfect place for our family group of 7. We loved the patio overlooking the ocean, the community pool/hot tub option and the security of the property. Max was extremely responsive! My only negative is the downstairs bedroom is very stuffy and never cooled down. It definitely could use an AC in that room (an AC split). The other rooms could use one as well. Overall, fantastic place.

Nice Location

The house was plenty big for the 8 of us (2 families). Everything we needed in the kitchen. The living room had comfortable couches. Nice patio to eat and hang out and watch the sunset. You can see the water from the balcony. Easy walk to the ocean/surf. Garage was convenient to keep all beach gear in. Outdoor shower was a plus. The only complaint is the downstairs master bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, we would love to stay again. Canā€™t wait to return.

Long weekend in Gaviotas

My friends and I had a great long weekend in Maxā€™s villa by the beach. We loved being able to walk to the water, utilize the community tennis court and jacuzzi. The house slept 8 couple comfortably, pushing two beds together in one bedroom. Having four separate full bathrooms was a plus as well.

We had a great time. House was spacious and clean. Amazing ocean view from the deck. Short walk to the pool and beach. Covered and garage parking is a plus. Felt very safe. Only downside was a very hard and uncomfortable mattress in downstairs queen bed. Otherwise we had a great trip and would stay again.

The place was wonderful, it was right by the beach, everything about it was great! Only thing I donā€™t recommend is bringing large groups(8). Canā€™t even whisper without security being on you about it after 10pm. They seem to pick and choose who to be strict with. Once they have it for you, they will constantly harass you about anything. There were other groups past 10pm at night in their balconies and they would not tell them anything. Just an FYI. But other than that, I do recommended Maxā€™s place for a more chill, quite, mellow type of trip/environment.

Great place !!! Very comfortable, great ocean view even though it's 2 rows of houses from the ocean. A little bit of a walk if you are lugging surf boards, but really not a deal breaker. The house was clean, cozy and served us well.
