Quepos Titi Canopy Hotels

"Just got back from a stay at Shana. Both the property and staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to help us… with things related to coming and going, setting up outings for the day that kind of thing. They are responsive to questions asked over the net/expedia which is something other places are not. Much appreciated. Also much appreciated is their handling of our late check in and check out. The hotel is on a fairly steep hill, so bear that in mind if mobility impaired… that going from your room to the pool/restaurant/reception might be tricky. This is offset by the golf carts that staff regularly have on hand to drive people up and down the hill, much appreciated by my mobility impaired wife. There is a beach that is walkable from the hotel, there are tents and chairs available to rent there along with kayaks and other equipment. It is swimmable and it is snorkel-able (not as clear as I am used to but still very nice to be able to do from the properly). The restaurant is great, the food fantastic and the service quite attentive. I only have smaller things to be constructive about related to the kitchenette part of our room, like the stove not being levelled and one of the clips for the top of the fridge’s water dispenser missing. It was a great time, the kids loved it and would readily recommend it. I actually just spent the wait before the last flight telling another family about how nice it was. "

"The VIEW from our room and from the pool area is UNBEATABLE! I would highly recommend. The staff was accommodating and friendly as well. A couple of things to note, the drive up to it can be a little rough so a sturdy car is nice to have, the shower water doesn’t seem to get hot, the room itself doesn’t have tv or convenient access to outlets but all these things are minor issues compared to the beauty of the view. "

"Clean and modernized room and bath. Beautiful location with ocean and mountain views. Hotel is inside the mountain top park with lots of beautiful plants and lovely animals. Love the multiple long and high hanging bridges spanning from tree to tree. Lots of fun to walk, climb, and observe in the park. Delicious breakfast in a lovely open cafe platform with wonderful natural views."

"My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was supposed to have an ocean view but really did not have even a partial ocean view. Aside from that everything was excellent, service was great, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious, and the view from the pool was lovely. We had nice treatments from the spa as well. I enjoyed the birds on the property and especially appreciated the Scarlet macaw and rehabilitation program and reserve on the property. "

"Everything about this property was perfect. Pool was wonderful, the owners were very nice and informative and the home was very clean! We felt very safe the entire time as well. My son even forgot the clothing he had hanging up in the closet and the owners were so nice to allow us to retreive our items an hour or more after check out. I would stay again and would recommend this place to anyone."

"The house was a perfect place to stay with the family. We felt safe and it is quite. We had a pair of toucans, iguanas, frogs, lizards and other song birds that would visit. Our little kids enjoyed the bunkbeds and the pool.The house is close by places to eat, grocery stores, playground, the beach, national parks and hiking trails. The only issue was communication with people. I saw reviews stating the same so I tried to get ahead by asking questions in advance but you will not get anything until an hour or so before the house is available. There is no Costa Rica concierge to help you schedule anything. I sent multiple emails and never heard back. As long as you want to do everything on your own, this is a great place to stay. Everything you need for the house is available. "
