「The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants.」

「My favorite stay on the islands. I would recommend the private room with AC. Bed wasn't super comfy, but other than that, it was great! Really cool' chill vibe here, a bit away from the bars and everything but still very walkable.」

「This property has its share of online detractors, and there’s possibly a grain of truth in many of the comments. But seriously dude we’re all here for the view, and it sure delivers beyond expectations. Get yourself a brownie and do not miss the Saturday pool party, and shut up about the 600B minimum spend - it’s a bargain and best day ever. 「I stayed in the standard room which was very similar to what is shown in the pictures on the site. I went on the day of the full moon party and all other hotels are either fully booked or unreasonably expensive and da kanda was still available at an affordable price. I was by skeptical and worried prior to arrival that the room is gonna be a nightmare but it turned out pretty ok! The staffs are helpful and the room is ok, i wouldn't say it's clean but i expected and have stayed in much worse....
