「Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!」

「Double booked us. Were unable to process refund in time to make alternate accommodation. Last minute bookings much more expensive than budgeted for. Not even an apology.
Hotels.com just as much to blame for not being helpful」
