"Front desk personnel is helpful. Location is convenient and it’s near the railway station. Room is small with simple and minimum hotel facilities. It’s recommended to travelers who don’t spend much time in the hotel. My room (#603) is VERY close to the railway and you can hear the noise every few minutes when a train passes; this would be very annoying if you could not stand with the noice. Be aware that Check out time is 10AM and hotel charges JPY1,000 per extra hour if you plan to stay longer; normally other hotels’ check out time is 11:00 or 12:00. This is a budget oriented type of hotel; it’s good only if you can accept the negative parts."

"The room is clean and have space for opening 2x medium-sized luggage, and you can also place the luggage under the bed which is designed for storing. The staff is responsive in providing clean towel and other stuff as needed. The hotel is located 5 minutes walking to the Ueno stations, where multiple lines are connected, and less than 10 minutes walking to the Ueno park. There are many restaurants opening till late evening right across the street. For improvement: 1/ The lounge always have a smell of food, best to improve the ventilation 2/ The water machine is inside the lounge but it closed at 11pm, it's better if there's a water machine available throughout the day. A note that the water machine always has some stain, probably due to the use of hot water for food. "
